Director Partner of Lataxnet Chile Abogados & Consultores, Attorney, graduated from Universidad de Chile, Law School, has a Masters in Tax Law in Universidad de Chile, a Post graduate degree equivalent to a Masters in International Taxes (ITP) in Harvard University, has taken a specialization course at Sinnea, Universidad de Bologna, Italy.

He was a Partner and Director at the Legal and Tax Division of Ernst & Young Chile and the first Chilean tax and legal desk at the Latin American Business Center based in New York of this firm. Later he formed the Tax Department in “Valdés, Granese & Espinosa, Abogados” a law firm. He has advised a great number of multinationals in matters relative to local and international taxes.

He is a Professor of Tax Law at the Law School of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and at the Economics and Management School of Universidad de Chile and Universidad de Talca.

Jorge has lectured a number of Tax seminars in Chile and abroad and has published several articles addressing tax matters. A member of the Lawyers Association in Chile, the International Fiscal Association, and the Chilean Institute of Tax Law. He has been named by the International Tax Review magazine as one of the main tax advisor with expertise in International Taxes in Chile.
